For a freshman who is just about to start the first year in a college or university, now you should be thinking how to create a private nook in your future room in halls or worried about the back-to-school activities. Oryou might feel miserable when trying to get some creative ideas or a productive result, especially the moment you sit down in front of your screen and try to get some creative ideas or a productive result. Dont worry about that, cos Ive got some solutions for you! Check it out!

De-clutter and Organise

Its not going to do you any good if your workspace is stuffed with here-and-there unnecessary papers. De-cluttering and organising is always the first step for you to start with if you do happen to have such an study (I bet everyone does. Ha-ha!).

You can store those assignments, books, magazines, etc., in an study desk with storage or in a bookcase to free up much of your desktop space. Well, of course, if the documents or assignments are important to you, a file cabinet with lock can always help and it can be easily placed just under your desk.

Also, which might please many of you as a perfect back-to-school gift: an L-shaped gaming desk with storage shelves, as it creates ample storage and makes full use of your corners, meanwhile always keeping items within easy reach.

Comfy It Up

Does this title remind you of something? Yeah~ it is about ergonomics for your study.

You might always feel tired with neck and back strained after sitting for a long time. Check if your study chair fits and supports you well, as an ergonomic study chair with lumbar support, headrest, footrest as well as reclining function makes sitting more comfortable and doubles your efficiency. In addition, a height adjustable electric standing desk makes it possible for you to work standing up, which can save you from lumbar strain caused by sedentary and should be good for your body.

It's worth mentioning that lighting also matters a lot when it comes to study in comfort. Decorate your window with a sheer curtain. Not only will it let in natural light to reduce headaches and eyestrains, but it will also add a cosy, elegant feel to your space.

Liven It Up

Since its a space that you are going to spend a great deal of time in, why not embellish it in your own way. Adding in something that echos your style and your taste can be very positive and helping.

The walls in your space are not meant to be beige and you are not going to be lethargic as usual. A wallpaper with creative patterns or in a vibrant colour, or some of your favourite posters might be in your favour uplifting your mood, or it might be even better to make your wall come alive if you fancy a floating wall shelf with your favourite figurines or photo frames on it.

Getting some pop of green can also make you feel relaxed and make the space inviting. For example, put some succulents or potted plants just on the desk near your eyes or on the bookshelf.

Must-Have: COFFEEEEE

Is there any one who would refuse a cup of coffee? No way! I wont allow it.

I would feel sorry if all those mentioned above is not helping. If yes, never mind that, lets do it with some coffee! Add some ice (key factor for inspirations~~~) and shake it up! Ta-dah! Yes! Never doubt that we have the ice makers available, how perfect huh!

Setting up an inviting and personalised nook for productivity enhancement might seem impossible, especially when you dont know where to start, but now you can give it a try starting with the back-to-school shopping!
